This came in the mail this week-- Thank you Houston Worldfest Festival!
It reminded me about how much of this film was predicted before events overwhelmed us. It was started in the spring of 2023, before the Hamas attack in October. It questioned where our increased isolation was coming from-- who was profiting from our national distrust, fear and hatred of the "other". And this was before the election and our current administration. It predicted the rise in anti-Semitism and the call for understanding and unity. I gave up on the festivals because it was seen as too political and controversial. I don't pride myself as a Cassandra, but you can see Market of Hate on Vimeo-- its password is MARKET2024.
