In the early days of cable television, programmers had to figure out what to put in between their movies or programming to allow the next show to start exactly at the hour or half hour-- what viewers were used to with broadcast television. We created the first 3 bumpers for their interstitial programming: Comic Clips, Behind the Scenes and Festival Videos: the names describe their content!
This was our very first job as Buzzco Associates! And it was great fun to create 3 different looks for each of the segments. A cartoon style for Behind the Scenes (and that's my scream on the soundtrack!), a New Yorker-style for Comic Clips, and photo MTV-style for their video section.
