In the early days of cable television, programmers would fill slots with acquired material but brand the slot as their own. Tracy Baron created Thursday Night Mystery Movies and asked us to create an opening.
These were film noirs and we were asked to keep the flavor of the era, but have a new spin on the design. We went to the roof to shoot polaroids of our staff to help with the staging and we hoped nobody saw us with the knife!
