Kimberley Littlemore of Littlefox Communications Ltd. contacted Buzzco Associates to create animation for their series of short films for Macmillan Cancer Care. Macmillan is a British charity that provides specialist healthcare and information to people affected by cancer.
I met Kimberley Littlemore at the mHealthEd conference in Dublin in September 2013 when I was presenting the work I did for iHeed. We talked about collaborating on health films, and how it might be possible to create drawn animation affordably. Kimberley is the Creative Director at Littlefox Communications, a strategic planning communication company.
When she showed me the video clips, I was impressed by the quality of her live interviews with cancer survivors, and her topic of post-treatment depression, I immediately agreed to help with the project!
I made the design simple and non-threatening, making each image convey the emotion needed. It was very well received.
