Biketown held its annual contest to give away 50 bikes in metropolitan New York City. Candy Kugel won a new Giant commuter bike. Winners were asked to make a video diary of their new bike, and, of course, Candy made a 90-second flash film.
I made this little spot not only because I was thrilled with my new bike but because I needed practice using the verrrrrrry buggy Flash software, which, at this time, was the standard for web animation. Of course I needed Rick's expertise in sussing out the features and Vinny's encouragement, but it served its purpose getting me more comfortable with the software, and Biketown and Biking magazine were delighted with it!
