On Epiphany, January 6th, 2012 we held a celebration of Vincent J. Cafarelli's life. Vinny unexpectedly passed away in early December, peacefully in his sleep.
He was a mainstay in New York animation since the 1950's. This is a collage of moving and still images from that night and a couple of glimpses of the honoree from old footage screened that evening.
Michael Sporn wrote about Vince on his Splog. Tom Warburton wrote about his time at Buzzco with Vince. Dave Levy wrote about Vince in ASIFA-East’s blog.
And finally, many friends (young and old) came to remember and celebrate Vince’s life on Epiphany and we put together a short movie of it.
