In 2005 Sesame Street returned with a curriculum that asked for ideas about nutrition. Candy Kugel, a real pal of all things vegetable and fruit, came up with the lyrics for “I Eat the Colors of the Rainbow”. Lanny Meyers created the tune and Vincent Cafarelli animated the piece.
I was delighted to receive the 2005 curriculum for Sesame Street -- it had been way too long since our work in the 1980's. And as a lapsed vegetarian, though lover of fruits and vegetables, I was happy to eat the colors of the rainbow!
