Music and songs bring images and stories to mind. Many of our independent films were based on songs we created with composer Lanny Meyers.  These videos were created from existing songs, commissioned by the creator. 

A big change happened when we no longer had to shoot animation on film and then process through a lab-- we could afford to create the videos digitally. It began in 2007 with "Abdul the Reluctant Martyr" which we could create in the newish software, Flash.

And now, in the 2020's,  because of COVID closing Broadway,  producer Jamie deRoy came to us to create a film based on a personal song “Wish on the Moon”. Because it has proven to be so successful in the film festival circuit, Jamie commissioned a second, “Daddy’s Girl” which was  released August 2022, and went on togarner even more awards! 

During the summer of 2024 I was inspired to return to the music video genre, taking an existing song and bringing it to life- "In the Morning", a song written by Nora York and Jamie Lawrence, performed by Nora York was completed in August 2024.
